In 2020, David Rush—also known as Record Breaker Rush on YouTube—broke the record by hitting his target with 19 thrown chopsticks in a single minute.

Rush had to return to training after someone managed to surpass his record with 21 hits.

He claimed that the championship was challenging because he had to stand almost 13 feet away from the target and hit the regular archery target’s two innermost colors for a hit to be considered.

Rush said that his first chopstick struck the very center of the bullseye, marking the fortunate start of the new record attempt.
