A woman from Taiwan will marry herself.
For a marriage celebration with thirty friends, Chen Wei-yih rented a banquet space, hired a wedding coordinator, and bought the flowing white attire.
However, there isn’t a groom. Chen plans to wed herself.
“It’s not that I’m anti-marriage,” the 30-year-old lady adds, despite feeling pressured by society to get married and not being inspired by the men she has met. All I want is to be able to convey a different viewpoint while being within a heritage.
