A young skateboarder sought to stop other kids from making fun of a stray kitten, but he was outmatched by numerous of them.
Instead, 8-year-old Zayin Berry employed tact by exchanging his skateboard for a pledge to keep the animal alone. The kitten is now his “best friend” because it worked. And Zayin’s mother claims that the lucky cat was aware of it from the beginning.
You could see that he simply fell in love with it. His mother said to the CBS 5/AZ Family, “You could see the cat just loved him.”
The Berrys understood the cat required immediate medical assistance after they brought him home. He had an eye infection, and his breathing was labored and unpleasant.
Veterinarians informed the family that the cat, whom they had named “Peaches,” required surgery to remove the diseased eye after they took him to the Yuma Humane Society. Fortunately, the surgery went smoothly, and Peaches is doing well.
Speaking on behalf of the Humane Society, Lauren Twerdak referred to Zayin’s generosity and sacrifice as “outstanding.”
“It is truly remarkable that Zayin possesses such concern and motivation at such a young age,” Twerdak remarked.
