When a Colombian family discovered their pet Pomeranian was missing from their 12th-floor apartment in the city of Cali on November 19, they had moments of panic. When it became evident that he was not in the house, they searched everywhere for him. When they checked the windows, they discovered a little hole in the roof of a building three floors below. Through the tiny hole, the anxious dog’s owners were able to see their pet Paris with the aid of binoculars. Since the floor where Paris was spotted was locked, his owners called the local fire department right once to have the dog rescued. He miraculously survived and was discovered without even a scratch.

Given that the owners normally keep the windows locked, it’s unknown how Paris fell from his home on the twelfth story, but how he survived left both his poor people and the doctor who examined him for injuries following the rescue perplexed. He should have suffered some sort of internal or external injury following the fall, even though it is thought that his fluffy Pomeranian coat and the iron ceiling he fell through buffered his impact. Since his rescue, he has been monitored, and he seems to be in excellent health.
