Using a GPS device to plot her trip on a digital map, 25-year-old Rebecca Laurel has already created other intricate drawings, such as a witch, a pumpkin, and a ghost.
During a Halloween-themed bike ride, a rider has drawn the outline of a skeleton.
Rebecca Laurel, a 25-year-old Leicester native, rode her “spooky” bike throughout the city for over six hours.
This skeleton design is one of several Halloween-themed bike routes. A device equipped with GPS tracking records her journey and plots it onto a digital map.
“I’ve done a pumpkin, a ghost, and a witch, so a skeleton was one of the last options,” Ms. Laurel told the PA news agency.
She began her journey in the city center’s Fosse Park, went south to sketch the skeleton’s legs, and finished at Braunstone. She had previously cycled around Soar Valley Way to create the skeleton’s hips.

After spending almost six hours on Sunday cycling throughout the heart of the city, the 25-year-old from Leicester laid the groundwork for a skeleton-shaped bike route. Still, I had my share of difficulties. Repeatedly, she had to pedal the same path.
“The end of the legs and each rib, you go one way and then turn around and go back the same way, which kind of slows the route down a lot,” according to her.
“It was a lot of the city centre, so it’s slower and longer than a general ride.”
