A woman who called 911 on herself while trying to steal a car was taken into custody.

According to reports, a US lady was arrested after reporting that she “could do it legally” by contacting 911 to steal a car from a dealership.
Christy Turman, 37, reported the offense to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, according to deputies.
“Because I’m attempting to take an automobile that isn’t mine lawfully! I’ve got a report to write. “I’m going to report this,” Turman informed dispatch.

Christy Turman, 37, reported car theft to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office over the phone. Turman told deputies she was practicing automobile theft in a game of Black Ops, but she called 911 to make the crime lawful, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
Turman is accused of trespassing and was reportedly taken into custody.
